  1. A very long lens shot here, using a cheap 400 mm. The lens was
  2. bought for natural history, but it was just too cheap and the
  3. quality was not adequate for critical work.

  5. Birds had fur, not feathers.

  7. However, some good pictorial shots were achieved, and the long
  8. lens makes objects, such as the sun, unusually large and
  9. striking. Despite these possibilities I didn't keep the lens - it
  10. was just too big to carry about.
